Fuya Radio was started in 2005 by Dj Metronix and Zyme One as an underground and old school hip-hop podcast. Based out of El Paso, TX, it was merely meant to be an alternative to those commercial radio stations that didn’t play lesser known and local artists. It was meant to showcase those musicians who put the work in and weren’t established. The show picked up steam and soon added members Metafisix, Diluted Thought, Dj Soundz, FnDannyBoy, and Timmie Phatts to the collective. As a group, Fuya Radio was a podcast that would also perform live under the same moniker.
Eventually, the podcast branched off to associate with other well known and established podcasts in the El Paso/Southwest region. It was during this expansion that shows like The Tien & Rodolfo Show, Elite Gaming, Route 666 Radio, Loading, and most recently GeekGasm were added to the collective of entertainment.
In early 2010, the website was created and launched with the intention of bringing the people the most entertaining podcasts, video game news, artist spotlights, and more. It has succeeded in providing that thus far and the fan base continues to grow as you, the listener/viewer, devote your time to checking us out. We truly appreciate all the support we’ve gained throughout the years and we plan to continue our rise to even more entertainment and hilarity for years to come. Thank you!
